Wella ColorCharm Now Available at Ulta — And for Less

Wella’s ColorCharm line has long been a favorite among at-home hair color enthusiasts.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many people began experimenting with DIY color, and Sally Beauty quickly became the go-to destination for salon-quality products without needing a license. Their stores are often staffed with salon-trained associates who can guide you to the right shades and formulas for your look.

One of the most sought-after items in the lineup is the Wella ColorCharm Toner — known for reducing brassiness, canceling yellow tones, and helping blend roots for a more natural finish. The full ColorCharm range also includes crème toners, permanent hair color, developer, and lightening powder. Because of its popularity and affordability, it’s not unusual to find these toners sold out at Sally stores.

But there’s good news: you now have another option. Ulta Beauty quietly added Wella ColorCharm products to its website a few months ago. While most shades are available online only (and tend to sell out just as quickly as they do at Sally), there’s a pleasant surprise — the price. A toner that costs $9.99 at Sally is just $7.99 at Ulta.

You can save even more by stacking store coupons or shopping during Ulta’s big events. During the 21 Days of Beauty sale in June, the entire ColorCharm collection was 50% off.

The only downside? Ulta currently stocks only the smaller 4-ounce developers, so you’ll still need to visit Sally Beauty if you prefer the large bottles.

Right now, Wella ColorCharm products are Buy One, Get One 50% Off at ULTA, making it the perfect time to stock up on your favorite shades and toners.

Winky Lux Has Lip Glosses That Taste Like Applebee's Wings

National Chicken Wing Day and National Lipstick Day were both last week and Winky Lux has some leftovers. To celebrate days in the chicken wing and lipstick worlds, Applebee's partnered with Winky Lux on a collection of wing sauce-inspired lip glosses. The "Saucy Gloss" collection has four different shades, each based on an Applebee's wing sauce: Get Me Hot Buffalo: Coral with hot buffalo spice flavor. Sweet Chile Kiss: Deep red with golden chile. Be My Honey Pepper: Honey-spiced gloss with shimmering flecks with hints of BBQ, honey and pepper.  Honey BBQ-T: Maroon with sweet Asian wing sauce flavors.  Each gloss is $18 or you can get the whole set for $65.  Applebee's made a video with four models wearing the lip glosses to first dates at Applebee's encouraging singles to get out there after Covid. "Applebee’s is known for first dates and wings – which are one of our most popular menu items,” said Applebee’s Chief Marketing Officer Joel Yashinsky. “So...

The most expensive nail polish you won't regret buying

For those of us who don't get regular manicures, great nail polish is a must. I wandered upon my new favorite in Nordstrom while browsing Deborah Lippmann's products. "Happy Birthday" is the coolest polish I have ever seen. It is made up of red, yellow, blue, orange, green purple, silver and gold mini confetti in a clear base. It almost looks like someone threw a bunch of confetti and it landed on your nails, hence the name "Happy Birthday" .     I just had to have it. Even at $18. Now, you have to consider that this is a premium brand that contains no toluene, formaldehyde or DBP. It is sold out   online and Nordstrom says they can barely keep it in stock. The one negative - the sales lady told me it takes a while to get it off.  Deborah Lippmann is a manicurist that started mixing up polishes for her celebrity clients like Mariah Carey, Sarah Jessica Parker and Cher.  She also has a line of hand and foot treatments, her "Rich Girl" hand and ...
